Bellboot is a gorgeous Aussie with an impeccable pedigree. Her sire is the most titled Aussie in the world HOF SPCH WTCH ATCH-II OTCH Certik-Bertik RTDcs UDX TD RN RS-E-SP JS-E-SP GS-E-SP MAD AA AJ AG AR AS EJC ERC EGC. and her titled dam Tinroof Babika @Turkey Run CDX RS-N JS-O GS-O is Mistretta bred.
Bellboot has a lot of natural talent on cattle and really enjoys working them. She will hit heads and heels as needed to get the job done. She’s extremely athletic, can get in the dirt, and very fast, nothing can out run this girl. She’s an obedient dog and always wants to please and is a joy to work with.
Bellboot is an affectionate and friendly girl. She loves being with us and sticks to us like glue. She has a lot of drive and a good work ethic but at the end of the day she is happy to sit with us and enjoys the down time too.

Tapadero is a strikingly beautiful, blue eyed, Black Tri. Her dam is “Chappy” and her sire is a blue eyed, Black Tri male. She has many WTCH, HOF, and Champions in her pedigree.
Tapadero was born here at Boyd Ranch and I was struck by her beauty, structure, and movement, when she was just a small pup. She has matured into a loyal dog and is protective of us and her home. She likes people as long as we tell her they are okay and then she will go to them to be pet and she loves the attention.
She is showing natural talent on cattle and loves to work them. She is very athletic and quick and has good cattle sense. She can be playful with them but if they threaten her, she will get serious.
Tapadero is a funny girl and I nick named her my stowaway dog. If I’m leaving and she thinks she is going to be left behind she jumps into the back of the truck and hides, hoping I won’t notice her….sometimes it works!

Pedigree for Stirrup AKC/ASCA Registered

“Stirrup” Was born here at Boyd Ranch and is a friendly and outgoing Aussie and loves to be the center of attention! Her dam is “Skidboot” and her sire is a blue eyed Black Tri. She is a beautiful Aussie with a lot of brilliant copper and blue eyes.
Stirrup is a very silly girl and reminds me a lot of her mother. Just being around her makes you smile and laugh as she jumps in the air and waves at you with her front paws. She is very toy driven and loves to play fetch and will run with a toy in her mouth, flip it in the air, and catch it before it hits the ground.
She is smart and obedient also and has been a joy to work with. She is going with us horseback on the ranch, helps us push cattle, and has a lot of stamina and try. Stirrup is very athletic and agile and if she wasn’t so busy being a Ranch dog she would be perfect for agility or any sport.
Rising Sun Adam Bomb “Bronc”
SIRE: HOF SPCH WTCH ATCH-II OTCH Certik-Bertik RTDcs UDX TD RN RS-E-SP JS-E-SP GS-E-SP MAD AA AJ AG AR AS EJC ERC EGC.
DAM: WTCH Rising Sun Blue paper Doll

We received an exciting call in January, 2011 from a breeder/friend (Rising Sun Farm) offering to sell Rising Sun Adam Bomb “Bronc” to Boyd Ranch. We were motivated to purchase him because he had been started on cattle and sheep, and is out of a WTCH dam and is sired by the most titled Aussie in the world!
We weren’t looking for an older male at that time, but after receiving his photos and pedigree we were certain this was an offer we couldn’t pass up. Our hearts knew this was a great opportunity to add some new and outstanding bloodlines into our already successful breeding program, so we went for it!
We received “Bronc” in February 2011 (just after we unexpectedly lost our beloved male Spur). The difficulty for me personally (at first) is Bronc and Spur are so much alike in temperament and working ability that he was a constant reminder of our loss. Of course over time we realized what a blessing this had become and Bronc has settled in quickly and is working on the ranch like a true champ! It was an adjustment for him at first because he wasn’t used to working cattle in the wide open and moving them so far, he had only been in the arena. He caught on quickly, does hit heads and heels as needed, and reads cattle well. He stays very focused and on task while working.
He’s built working skills with the other dogs and has learned to love us all as his new family. He likes to sit with us on the porch after a long days work and we chuckle at him, he is such a silly dog. Excitingly he will wiggle all over and he loves to be pet and told what a great dog he is….we are truly blessed to have him.
Flatrock Hangin Judge “Bubba”
SIRE: Pincie Creek Hangin Judge (By: HOF WTCH Pincie Creek Cisco Kid Dam: WTCH PINCIE CREEK OLA’S MAE)
Pedigree for Flatrock hangin Judge AKC/ASCA Registered
- Eyes clear-HSF4/HC, CEA, CMR1, Cone Deg, PRA-prcd, Hips OFA Certified Good
This is “Bubba” who we acquired from Cotter Cattle Ranch in Arkansas. He has an outstanding pedigree which includes some of the foundation greats, including: HOF WTCH Pincie Creek Cisco Kid, WTCH Pincie Creek Ola’s Mae, HOF sire WTCH Hangin Tree Blue Bear CD RD RTDsc PATDsc CGC, and Las Rocosa lines.
Bubba arrived at Boyd Ranch on a Tuesday, he bonded with us on Wednesday, and went to work on Thursday sorting calves off cows and loading them in the chute. He is very cowy and has enough hit nothing could get by him in the alley! He did so well working in the pens that we then took him out with us horseback to move pairs out of a trap and push them to the next pasture. We took another one of our Aussies with us “Colt” and Bubba with Colt worked as a team helping us gather and drive cattle. Bubba is such a good and obedient dog!
Bubba also has an outstanding disposition, with a fun outgoing personality, and loves people. He is a very well adjusted, happy, and content dog. We are very excited he has joined us and our gang here at Boyd Ranch!
