Tapadero was born here at Boyd Ranch and I was struck by her beauty, structure, and movement, when she was just a small pup. She has matured into a loyal dog and is protective of us and her home. She likes people as long as we tell her they are okay and then she will go to them to be pet and she loves the attention.
She is showing natural talent on cattle and loves to work them. She is very athletic and quick and has good cattle sense. She can be playful with them but if they threaten her, she will get serious.

Tapadero is a funny girl and I nick named her my stowaway dog. If I’m leaving and she thinks she is going to be left behind she jumps into the back of the truck and hides, hoping I won’t notice her….sometimes it works!
